My Books
Living the Sundown
(Moon Tide Press 2024)
In 2018, I moved from Southern California back to upstate New York to care for his aging parents, both of whom suffered from dementia. Living the Sundown is based on my blog posts from that time. It tells the story with compassion and humor, and dives deep into the gritty details of such a responsibility, showing how it is both challenging and rewarding. Anyone who is, has been, or anticipates being in a similar situation will find the book informative, relatable, and moving.

My Kidney Just Arrived
(Tebot Bach 2001/Moon Tide Press 2025)

My Chapbooks
I have published five chapbooks over the years, some on my own, some through other publishers. Unluckily, none of them are currently available. Here they are:

Orange Ocean Press
n 1992 I founded Orange Ocean Press, with the goal of expanding the audience for poetry. My first books were anthologies of "unpoetic subject." The first two were Paper Shredders, an anthology of surf poetry, and Polluted Poems, a collection of environmental poems. I also published books by several of my favorite local poets. All of the Orange Ocean Press books are currently out of print, without much hope of reprints.
Here are the various titles:

Anthologies I Have Been Published In
